HULBA is an acronym for HCI Usability Lab Booking Application.
Students of Temasek Polytechnic who study in the IT course may be required to learn the subject Human Computer Interaction, of which requires them to perform usability tests on their web developments. In order to monitor the progress of these students, the school provides usability testing computer laboratories that come with audio-visual recording devices to keep track of their work. Having been tasked to maintain the HCI lab, I took the initiative to develop this application. It allows the students a more convenient way of booking the labs, than to travel to the lab itself to book a usability lab on paper. Also included was an administrative module that allows lecturers and myself to monitor the attendance of the students. This assignment was developed during my student internship program with Temasek Polytechnic. |
